Hinata sighed softly as she managed to bring Naruto back to her apartment. It had taken a while, and a lot of people asking her if he was alright… Of course, she had to lie and saw that he was drunk since his wounds had already healed… If it hadn’t been for the masked woman healing Hinata, than there wouldn’t have been a way to bring Naruto back home.

Turning to the blonde haired man that she half carried and half dragged, Hinata wondered why he hadn’t woken up yet… It had her concerned and scared for him thinking that he wouldn’t wake up… As soon as she got him onto the couch, Hinata removed his shoes and his shirt to help make the sleeping demon more comfortable than had a blanket covering him from the waist down. If it started to get colder in the room, she could pull it over him a little to help keep him warm.

Staring at his peaceful face, Hinata wondered what was going through his mind right now… What was he dreaming about and was it a good dream? She didn’t know, but what she did know was that she wanted to make sure that he healed properly before waking up though, as for what he had to do to heal, she didn’t know but prayed that he would wake up…

Letting out a soft sigh, Hinata ran her fingers through Naruto’s hair as she hoped that he could sense that she was there with him… Hinata couldn’t leave him… She would be able to stay with him since the school had a lot of damages to fix so the school would be closed for a little bit with the way the battle went… That should be enough time for Naruto to regain his strength and wake up right? “Please wake up Naruto…” she whispered softly before walking to the kitchen to make something for dinner. Maybe the scent of ramen would wake him up.

As she cooked, Hinata wondered why that demon had been after her… There had to be a reason more than what he was saying. Did he really have a master that was after her or was he only saying that to make himself creepier? Either way, that guy had some weird kind of fetish if he wanted to have sex with her, alive, or dead… Just thinking about it made her shudder that there was a demon like that though for the time being she would have to focus on Naruto and make sure that he healed…

Turning to look over her shoulder, the young woman saw that he was still asleep… It seemed that no matter what he just wouldn’t wake up and it bothered the young woman a great deal… Unless he was in some kind of healing trance or something though she couldn’t really be sure since Hinata, still didn’t know much about demons.

Sighing softly, the young woman poured the hot water in the ramen cup and closed it up and set a timer before making her way over to the couch. Hinata tilted her head to the side as she wondered what it was that would get him to wake up. Reaching out, the young woman cupped Naruto’s face in her hand as she said “I hope you wake up Naruto… I wish I knew what I could do to wake you up…”

Groaning softly, Naruto leaned his head against her palm and muttered something though he soon went quiet as she stared at him in shock and concern. “Naruto… please wake up… I beg you…” she said with concern shining in her eyes. Sadly, Hinata got no answer from him this time… It almost seemed like he had faded into a deeper state of unconsciousness and that was something that she had no idea as to how to help him other than to stimulate the waking world with sound or music but would that work on demons?

Moving her hand from his cheek to his hair, Hinata gently ran her fingers through the blonde strands as she wondered if he knew she was here… Did he know that she was here with him, trying to help him…? To wake him up at all? She didn’t know though she knew that something had to help him to wake up quicker though what that was… it concerned her that it may be something that she had no way of getting a hold of… After all, she didn’t know any demons on a personal level that would help her or Naruto and she had no way of trying to get a hold of Naruto’s family to ask them for help even though she’s never met them before or if they even knew about her…

“I wonder what you’re dreaming about…” Hinata whispered gently before turning her head and saw the puppy that she nursed back to health walking out of her room. The puppy wagged his tail at Hinata before hoping up and lying on Naruto’s chest and stared at Hinata as if asking the question would give her an answer from the sleeping demon. Nothing still… He still wouldn’t wake up…

Shaking her head a bit, the young blue haired woman pushed herself up from her seat and went to eat her ramen, wondering if Naruto would end up waking up when she sat near him with ramen…? Would the scent be enough to wake him up? Oh the idea of that made her smile though she just couldn’t really be sure since it hadn’t worked so far since the kitchen wasn’t very far from the living room… “I’ll wait until tomorrow… if he doesn’t wake up I’ll have to try something to get him to wake up… There has to be something that he mentioned before that could help if he was like this… but what?”

Shaking her head, the young woman sat across from the couch as she watched Naruto with her lavender eyes shining brighter with concern. There had to be something… anything… to wake him up.

***

Naruto wandered around in the darkness, not really sure where he was going to be honest. The fight with Gaidoku had taken much more of his energy than he thought and now he was stuck wandering around in this hellhole that was his mind. There was nothing appearing before him, had his body been worn out to the point that he didn’t even have the energy to make dreams now? He had no idea but what he did know was that he didn’t like it. This pissed him off; he just hoped that Hinata was still safe and that she would stay that way until he woke up…

The thought of her being in danger… it angered him to a great level…

Inhaling softly, Naruto frowned a bit as he thought back to when he felt warmth on his cheek… He knew that someone was out there in the waking world with him trying to help him wake up… Was it Hinata though that was trying to help him? He couldn’t really be sure as of yet though he knew that he had to be careful, there was no way of knowing what it could be that was that was really out there…

“Hinata…?” Naruto said with a frown, thinking that the warmth that he had felt was her… He didn’t know how, but he just… knew… It held a kindness, a gentleness that he knew that only she possessed. Letting out a dry laugh, Naruto couldn’t believe that he thought she was nothing but an evil woman when they first met… and he had tried to ignore just how pleasing her scent had been to him even after his demon revealed it… Even now, he tried to ignore it but couldn’t lie to himself anymore…

“I love her… I really love her… but… could she love me? I’m a demon… no one would give a shit about me…” muttered Naruto with a sad smile on his face. There was no way that she could love someone like him… Grabbing his crimson ponytail, Naruto wondered if Hinata was still there… looking after him… taking care of him? Laughing softly, the young man tried to get himself to relax though he knew that he couldn’t… he was still in his own mind as he tried to regain energy but knew that he wouldn’t wake up because he had no chakra in him… at least not enough for him to wake up.

Sitting down, Naruto threw his head back and screamed out his frustrations knowing that this was only starting to piss him off. Punching the black floor, the young man knew that this was only going to get worse… There was no way that he could get out unless Hinata remembered when he told her the two safe ways to transfer chakra though it was going to be hard to say… That was a while ago, to be honest he didn’t even know how long ago it was now.

Crossing his arms across his chest, Naruto thought back to what Gaidoku was doing… He had mentioned that he had a master that wanted Hinata’s chakra… Though it had him curious as to whom the master was though he couldn’t be sure. Rubbing the back of his neck, the young man wondered what it was that was going to cause this… though whoever the master was he was going to get a can of whoopass.

Chuckling to himself, Naruto knew that would be funny if he saw the master and kicked his ass. Though it still puzzled him, he never sensed another demon other than Gaidoku though maybe he was sensing something else? Ugh, this was pissing him off though for now he would have to see what was going on… There had to be something that was going on, there had to be something that he could do to ensure Hinata’s safety but damn it he couldn’t even do that if he couldn’t even wake the fuck up!

“You can never escape your destiny boy… the girl… you will end up killing her…” said a new voice.

Frowning, Naruto looked around as he tried to think on where the voice was coming from though he didn’t see anything. “Who’s there?” he called out, not really sure who it could have been though Naruto shrugged his shoulders as he muttered that maybe it was nothing. Inhaling softly, Naruto pushed himself up onto his feet as he said “just gotta remember… this is nothing but my mind acting odd because of lack of chakra…”

“You will kill her… you can never escape your destiny and that girl that you say you love… she will die by your hands.”

“That’s a lie! I would never kill Hinata! I love her damn it!” shouted Naruto as he swiped at the darkness, hoping that he would be able to kill the monster that tried to tell him such a lie. Suddenly, he felt something on his claws… Frowning, Naruto looked down at his clawed fingertips and tilted his head what was going on. Why was his claws stained in… something…? He sniffed at it for a moment as he tried to think on what it was that it could be.

His eyes widened in shock at what he was seeing… “No…” he whispered in horror only to back up in the darkness that surrounded him. “No!” shouted the young man as he stared in utter horror at his claws. “This can’t be happening! This just can’t be happening! I wouldn’t have…!” Looking over ahead of him, a light shined down on the dead body of someone he knew… Gulping, he slowly walked over to the body, not wanting to believe that it was true on who it was that was laying there on the ground…

Slowly and carefully the young man made his way toward the body… blood stained the black floor and it made him think… wait was he thinking? Had his mind shut down in the shock as he tried to think on what or who it was that was laying there. “Please… please don’t be her…” Gulping, Naruto reached over and turned the body over only to stare in horror. Tears started to build up in his eyes and roll down his face… the lifeless eyes of Hinata staring back at him…

“Oh god please no…”

“This is her fate boy… she will die by your hands! You can’t change your fate!” shouted the voice before it started to laugh.

Naruto carefully reached over and pulled Hinata’s body in his arms before holding her close to his chest and he started to cry and scream out her name as he begged for her to be alive out in the real world, that this was nothing more than a trick of his mind and nothing more than that… “Hinata!” shouted Naruto.

Hinata walked into her apartment after buying some things at the store… She didn’t know what was wrong with Naruto though it seemed like he was having a peaceful sleep so far… Though the only downside was that Naruto still didn’t wake up or show any signs of waking up in the first place… Letting out a soft sigh, the young woman made her way to the couch and frowned when she saw that Naruto was sweating like crazy. His hands tightly held onto the blanket, his face twisted in pain as if he was going through something truly horrifying.

“Naruto?!” shouted Hinata as she rushed to his side and set the bags down. Placing a hand on his forehead, the young woman felt how sweaty he was though he wasn’t running a fever. Were these just cold sweats from the nightmare that he was going through? What was he dreaming about to cause this?

Sniffling, Hinata felt the tears springing to her eyes as she started to blame herself. It was her fault that he was going through this. Her fault that he had to battle, her fault that she needed to be saved… her fault… that he was unconscious and not able to wake up and dealing with that nightmare. No matter what, she would keep blaming herself that this was happening to Naruto and there would be nothing that she could do to help him…

“Naruto I am so, so sorry…” Sobbed Hinata before digging into her jeans pocket to pull out her handkerchief though frowned when she noticed that it wasn’t in there. “Oh… I must have left it in the coat I wore when I was attacked…” Wiping her eyes with the back of her hand, Hinata made her way away from the couch and toward the hanger. It had only been a few days since the battle with Gaidoku and Naruto, and she hadn’t worn the jacket since then thinking that it would only bring back the memories of what she had gone through…

It hadn’t helped at all to avoid the problem.

Wiping her eyes again, Hinata tried to get herself to relax… Her tears wouldn’t stop flowing; her heart was aching at the thought of Naruto laying there like a vegetable and nothing else. “Oh Naruto… I’m so sorry… I don’t know what else I can do for you…” Sniffling a little, the young woman reached into her coat pocket hoping to find her handkerchief as she wondered if it would be in there unless she had moved it to another location…

Frowning a little, the young woman felt something in her coat along with the handkerchief… it didn’t make sense to her though… there shouldn’t be anything else in that pocket, not even her wallet. Pulling it out, she saw a piece of paper in a little baggie. That didn’t seem right though turning it over, she saw that it had her name on it and the word ‘please read, important’ on it. Tilting her head to the side once more, Hinata shrugged and grabbed her handkerchief from her pocket before making her way over to Naruto… After she wiped his face, she would read the note. It had to be important though she couldn’t really be sure if it was really important or if it was something else…

Grabbing the foot rest, Hinata sat down and carefully started to wipe his face. He still looked like he was in pain, the young woman sniffled again as she tried to get herself to stop crying. Breathing heavily, Naruto looked like he was… crying? Frowning the young woman leaned in closer so she could hear him since she saw his lips moving. Though, the young woman couldn’t make out what it was that he was saying to him in the first place.

Frowning, the young woman set the handkerchief aside and opened up the little plastic baggie and took out the note. Taking a gaze at it, the young woman couldn’t help but wonder what kind of note it was that she was reading… and prayed that it would be something important or else she would be even more upset than she wanted to be.

If you want Naruto to wake up, you must give him chakra. He had used far too much of his chakra in the battle with Gaidoku… The only way for you to safely transfer your own chakra to his own, is if you kiss him. I’m sure he’s told you that before hasn’t he?

Frowning a little, Hinata did blush a bit at what the note had said… That she would have to kiss Naruto to give her some of her chakra to Naruto… though when she read the last sentence, it made her think back to when he did tell her… since it did start to come back into her mind… It was after the bar and when he threatened that guy about wanting to rape her…

“There are only two safe ways to get chakra without it killing the human.”

“And… what are those?”

“Having sex or kissing. I know for a fact that you would do neither…”

Hinata blushed darkly at the memory though she knew that it couldn’t have been a lie if both Naruto and this note told her the same thing… Well, about the kiss anyway though as for the other way she wasn’t sure on that. Looking down at Naruto, she saw that his pained expression became worse, as if he felt everything that was going on in his dream.

Hinata knew that this had to be done; she would have to do this if she wanted him to wake up before it was too late. Staring at his lips, she wondered if they were soft… she didn’t think he would care that she kissed him if it was to help him… right? After all, he wasn’t a jerk… at least not anymore. He had changed since he came into her life and she would do what she could to help him.

Leaning forward, Hinata gently placed her lips against Naruto as she let out a soft sigh. The blue haired woman wondered if this was even working, there was no way of knowing if it was working though for the time being she knew that she would have to be careful…  Slowly, Hinata felt herself becoming a bit weak though she didn’t think it would happen this fast unless… he was even more drained than she thought could have been possible for him… Though she didn’t stop… She kept on going to give him her chakra… this was to save him.

A soft groan was heard below her, it was working!

Hinata felt something on her shoulder, causing her to pull back and look down at the slightly opened blue eyes of the demon that had saved her life. “Naruto!” she said with a smile before hugging him. He didn’t speak, though he slowly wrapped his arms around her, his arms were shaking, as if struggling to keep them around her…

He should have told her to let go of him… though Hinata figured that he didn’t care so long as he was awake right now… that was all that mattered to her. Naruto finally woke up and she was happy about it.
here is chapter 9 people! I hope you enjoy this chapter and pray that it is still awesome and more story shall come and more action!
