Naruto sighed softly, Kakashi had just shocked him a few minutes ago so he would be awake now that the recess was just about over and done with. He didn’t know what he could do, though he knew that he had to do something that could prove his innocents… After all, he had only killed Kuro in self-defence which was also to protect Hinata from any and all harm. That was the only thing that mattered to him right now, and that was to keep Hinata safe at all times, nothing more and nothing less.

“Just relax Naruto, I have someone to help bring in a witness that may end up going in your favor.” Whispered Kakashi, just low enough so only Naruto would hear. All the blonde and crimson haired fox could do was nod, though to be honest he didn’t know if he should be happy yet, after all it wasn’t a for sure thing that he would be outta the woods yet about this hearing.

Naruto took a deep breath, hoping that he would be able to calm himself down… To be honest, he didn’t know if he would be able to calm himself down but hoped and prayed that whatever it is that they do, or whoever they bring in, isn’t Hinata, he didn’t think that she would be able to handle it if she had to come here. Demons didn’t really like humans all that much other for when they were hungry. If she did come down here, he would be afraid for her.

It seemed that they were getting agitated with the wait, and it made Naruto a little nervous about the whole thing. Were they going to stop the hearing all together? Dear lord he hoped that wouldn’t be the case. “Listen my fellow jury, we cannot wait anymore for the so called witness to come. We don’t even know if the witness will come if Mr. Uzumaki killed Kuro in cold blood… We may as well end the hearing here and now.” Oh no! They were going to end the trial! Fuck! The other members of the jury looked a little sad that they would have to end the hearing now, though they knew, that like any hearing it would have to end soon and it as well be now…

Naruto looked ready to jump, his chakra starting to increase a bit. He was even ready to jump up to strike and attack them, he didn’t care if it made him look bad but he had to get out of here and get back to Hinata now! Before he knew it, Kakashi had grabbed a hold of the angered fox demon, and sent a shock through his body. Naruto winced, chakra flaring with the new found power that he had started to discover within himself, he almost looked ready to rip apart Kakashi… until…

“Hold it!” shouted Itachi as he appeared through a portal. Naruto turned and frowned when he saw that man again that had caused him to pass out. What could he have that would be able to help him with the hearing? In fact, would anything be able to help him at this point? They didn’t have the right kind of witness and he knew that it would never work in the first place… It was going to be official, he was gonna go to court, then get the death sentence… Letting out a soft sigh, the young man knew that he wouldn’t be able to do anything to prevent this now… nothing. “I have the only other woman that can settle this hearing once and for all, there will be no one more to understand other than the one the King is claiming to have been his son’s chosen.”

Naruto’s eyes widened before he looked up at Kakashi in shock, as if asking him if he had anything to do with this. Kakashi’s eye was filled with sadness and he knew at that point that Kakashi had gone behind his back to get the one person that he knew… Or at least, he hoped that he was wrong about the whole thing… Closing his eyes, the young man hoped and prayed that there was nothing that bothered him or that there was no chance of Hinata being the one that they were bringing.

Sadly, her scent blasted through the room, causing Naruto to breathe deeply, he loved her scent. It was a lovely scent, it had always made him feel so alive and now… he knew that she was here. Oh god he wanted to rush to Hinata and hold her in his arms. “Hinata!” shouted Naruto as he rushed toward her, only for Kakashi to grab a hold of Naruto tightly. “Let me go! I have to keep her safe! Demons would want to hurt her! They would want to kill her! I can’t allow that to happen!” shouted Naruto, his eyes filled with fear for the woman that he had fallen in love with.

“Keep that monster away from my son’s chosen!” shouted Kuro Sr.

Hinata had made her way through the portal before she looked around. In fact, she looked scared, as if there was something that she thought would jump out to attack her. He could smell her fear all the way from where he stood, he wanted to go to Hinata, to hold her, to shield her, protect her and damn it all he couldn’t even do that! Kakashi was trying to make sure that a scene would not be made and the only way for that to happen, is if he stayed where he was, and that was with Kakashi at the defendant table or whatever they wanted to call it…

Itachi held onto Hinata, not in a possessive way, more like a way to show people that she would be under his protection for the time being. To be honest, he had thought that Itachi was going to just leave her be and let the demons do what they wanted… Yet, he was grateful for him wanting to protect Hinata. Hinata looked up, feeling a little bolder about her being in a room full of demons… her courage was building. “Sir… I’ve witnessed the whole thing. The fight between Naruto and Kuro… and, I’d like to say my piece about the whole thing.”

Dear god, please let the demon’s believe her… Hinata had seen the whole thing, had witnessed Kuro’s true self and how he had wanted to kill her. The thought of it being tried on her again made him shudder and prayed that no one ever tried that again! Shaking his head for a moment, Naruto looked over at Kakashi as he asked “is this a good idea? Will they even believe Hinata because she’s human?”

“There is a good chance they’d believe her though they may try something to make sure her story is nothing but the truth.” Kakashi said calmly, coolly… to be honest, the way he had said the whole thing gave Naruto a bad feeling. There was something that he was hiding from him though he just hoped and prayed that there was nothing wrong.

Hinata took a deep breath before Itachi led her to the stand. It seemed that he was doing everything he could to keep her protected and for that he was thankful. Though Naruto could also still sense the slight unease for her, she was scared and nervous about the whole thing. Closing his eyes, the young man took a deep breath as he tried to get himself to relax but until Hinata was calm herself, he didn’t think that he could calm down to be honest.

“Do not worry Naruto… she will be protected with Itachi.” Kakashi said with a soft smile, or at least he was sure that Kakashi was smiling.

Hinata sat down, looking around the room, Naruto knew that Hinata would end up taking some deep breaths while trying to calm down… she always did… Just like he had said, the young blue haired woman started to relax a bit as she started to go on with her story. “You see, I did know Kuro though not personally. He was in my classes and… I did like him to be honest.” Turning his gaze, Naruto saw Kuro Sr smirking, it was as if he knew that Hinata was going to say that… something was up…

There had to be something that Kuro Sr was hiding and he would make sure that he didn’t do anything wrong. Looking up at the jury, the young man kept a serious look on his face… waiting for Hinata to go on with her story…

“I found and met Naruto on my way home, he was badly hurt so I brought him to my apartment.” Hinata whispered softly.

“By found and hurt, what did you mean?” asked the raven demon.

Hinata had turned to Naruto for a brief moment, as if asking him if it was alright if they had confessed to this part. Closing his eyes for a brief moment, the young man knew that it as well be better that she tells them the truth of their meeting… it may end up saving them both in the long run at this point. Opening his eyes, Naruto gave Hinata a soft and gentle smile as he nodded, not knowing that a certain someone was watching him nodding and his smile.

“You see, I found him with this weird item on his neck, it was digging into his flesh and he had blood. When I was able to get it off, he woke up and I was able to get him home. After that, I was tending to his wounds and… he wasn’t happy that I had saved him because the item was… well, it was draining his power and his life…” Hinata calmly said, looking at the jury and watched as they started to whisper among themselves. It was as if they didn’t want to believe that a human could have saved him in the first place.

“A human saving a demon? Do you know what that means for us miss?” asked the Hawk Demon.

“Yes, he told me that it meant that we were to be wed… I of course wasn’t happy since…” She gave a sad smile before letting out a soft smile and closed her eyes. “He was a jerk at first… he was never happy and we spent a long time to try to find a loop hole to break the binding…”

“And I’m sorry for how I treated you Hinata… I really am…” whispered Naruto, mostly to himself though not knowing that Itachi and Kakashi had heard him…

Hinata took a deep breath, as if hoping that would be enough to calm her nerves as she went on with her story. “Naruto had gone out with my friends, he wasn’t feeling well from what I’ve been told though I didn’t know at that point in time, that he was starving himself from chakra. A guy had came up to me, and wouldn’t leave me alone, Naruto came up and got the man to leave after threatening him… He had told me on our walk home about what demon’s feed on, and telling me what he could share about demons or, at least what he wanted to share.”

“Did you not bother to ask him more about demons at all?” asked the Dog Demon.

“No, I didn’t think it was any of my business, so I thought he would share with me when he felt the need to.” Hinata said softly before running a hand through the hair on the sides of her head. “I’ve also noticed that he had been acting rather odd for a bit… One morning, I found him after he screamed and broke the mirror… and then, he had leaned really close to me.” Hinata giggled softly, her face tinted pink before she looked over at Naruto and gave him a soft smile and tried to get herself to calm down.

Naruto smiled gently at Hinata before turning to Kuro Sr, seeing that he was starting to get pissed. It seemed that he hadn’t expected for Hinata to start from the beginning now hm? Well, he would just have to suck it up and deal with it because he would have to accept the truth that Kuro never had any claim on Hinata. Hinata was her own woman, and this was her choice and he was happy that she made it.

“One night, he even went to comfort me… I was having a nightmare and he burst into my room and stayed with me until I fell asleep.” Oh god did she have to bring that up? It just didn’t make sense to him but he did feel the blood rushing to his face at the memory of that. Hell, she even hit him because of it until she had remembered that she had asked him to stay… thank god she didn’t mention that part… That, itself would have embarrassed him a great deal.

Hinata smiled a little as she looked up at the jury, later on that day, I was being hunted down by some demon, and I think he said that it was a Poison Demon. He wanted to drain me of my chakra though, when I yelled out for him… I had called out for Naruto and he came and saved me. He was just… so angry though when the demon, Gaidoku, had ended up not just making me cry, but had also wounded me greatly. I was bleeding and I think I had twisted my ankle.” Looking own with a frown on her face, she let out a sad sigh as she went on with that part of the story. “They fought, and Gaidoku sent an attack that would have possibly killed me… a Masked Woman came and saved me though Naruto thought I was dead. He changed into a humanoid fox… I was able to snap him out of it… though Gaidoku was able to escape…. And then Naruto had fainted from the lack of chakra that he had within himself.”

“He had been asleep for a while, I didn’t know what to do but I was able to give him chakra without it harming me from what he had told me once before in the past. I was thankful for saving him after he had saved me… I had been so scared, thinking that I would never save him until I had remembered that kissing him would save him.”

The Cat Demon frowned before saying “you… you willingly kissed a demon so you could save him?” Hinata just nodded, as if asking her if she did it because she was forced or if it was of her own free will. “That is amazing to be honest, no one would ever do that for a demon.”

“Naruto had done so much for me, so I didn’t think of a reason not to do that for him.” Hinata answered with a smile. “After that though, weeks had gone by so they could repair the school. That was when Kuro had asked me out. To be honest, I had wanted to go out with him but… I guess I had forgotten about him with everything that had gone on. I suddenly just wanted to go out with him when he had asked me out and I guess… in some way I had lost some sense of self. I can’t really explain it but after what Naruto told me, I slapped him and even now… I felt nothing but guilt over it.”

Naruto’s head looked up in shock at her words, did she… she felt guilt over that? She never wanted to slap him and… oh Hinata, how could he have ever doubted her in the first place? Naruto couldn’t help but close his eyes in guilt… he just could never forgive himself to be honest.

Hinata closed her eyes before looking away as she tried to think on what she could say next and do for him. “I did go out with Kuro, but I was having no fun.” She opened her eyes, lavender eyes met with blue as she stared ahead at Naruto. “I wanted out of there… Kuro did end up taking us out of there when Naruto and Sasuke were trying to keep an eye on me and Kuro by pretending to be waiters…” Naruto wanted to groan at that, he still couldn’t believe that Sasuke had gotten him to be some kind of wine professional. Whatever it was again, he couldn’t remember…

Either way, Naruto knew that he had to do what he had to do at that point of time if he was going to protect his intended. No matter the cost, he had to protect her at that point in time.

“Kuro revealed everything to me at that point. How he had been killing human woman by draining them of their chakra, or at least he did in some way of telling me.” Hinata shuddered at the memory, holding her arms as she tried to get herself to calm down and relax. “The Masked Woman saved me and stalled Kuro long enough for Naruto and Sasuke to arrive.”

Closing her eyes, Hinata whispered “I saw Naruto fighting Kuro, his movements were slow compared to before. It was as if he was weak from something, I didn’t know at the time what it was but I knew that it was something bad. Kuro managed to stab Naruto and I cried out from fear… When Kuro was being distracted by Sasuke and the Masked Woman, I ran to Naruto and he… he spoke to me, confessing to me about how much he loved me.” She looked over at Naruto, smiling softly at the fox demon before adding “he confessed to me about how much he loved me, that I was the only one he could ever love and that I was his intended that he had chosen me…” Letting out a soft sigh, the young woman added “I kissed him, and that was when Naruto healed thanks to my chakra and attacked Kuro and… he killed him.”

“See! She admits it! Naruto had killed my son because he was jealous of my son for getting the girl!” shouted Kuro Sr.

“I never said that!” shouted Hinata before saying “I only wanted one date that was it. I had lost most of my feelings for Kuro and… they went to another.” Hinata had whispered the last part…

“Then there is only one thing we can do… we must use a memory spell.” Said the Cat Demon.

Kakashi’s eyes widened, or at least his one visible eye before he said “but that’s drastic! We don’t know the kind of effects it would have on a human! IT could cause some terrible problems!” Naruto’s eyes widened in shock, there was no way that he could allow that to happen to Hinata. If that spell was no way of knowing what it could do to Hinata, he shook his head as jumped over his table and stood before the jury.

Kakashi looked like he was about to grab Naruto so he wouldn’t attack them. Though before he could do or say anything, Naruto’s voice echoed through the area. “Look through my memories. If they match what Hinata said, then you wouldn’t have to look through her memories right?!”

The jury looked among themselves before shrugging. The snake though smirked a bit behind his cloak as he said “we would have to check both of your memories to make sure that they match completely with what has been said so far.” Great, this was something that he didn’t want though it seemed that they wouldn’t listen to him, since they were so dead set on using those spells on the both of them. Naruto was shaking in fear and anger, he didn’t want to have anything bad happen to Hinata… he didn’t know what to do anymore…

“Alright, normally we wouldn’t do this but since we do not have any other demon that can get through demon’s or human’s mind perfectly… We have no choice but to use Itachi.” Said the Raven Demon before leaning in his chair. The snake demon hissed a bit as if he was not pleased about the whole thing. Breathing deeply, Itachi grabbed the chair as he placed it in front of the room than he went over to the side, toward a closet. To be honest, Naruto was rather curious as to what he was going to grab… until he saw it. It was a glass window…

Odd, what was this that made him wonder what the hell it was that made him think that it would help them in the first place. “Naruto…. Please take a seat…” Itachi calmly said after placing the window, which was no one a stand near the chair.

Breathing deeply, Naruto took a seat on the chair as he wondered what it would be like to have his memories looked through. In fact, he almost hoped that Itachi would stay out of… certain memories that he never wanted anyone to see the fantasies that he would sometimes have of Hinata… Just thinking about it made his face red at the thought of it. “You alright Naruto? Your face is… rather red.” Naruto just nodded, knowing that if he spoke his voice may crack.

“Okay Naruto, since this is your first time with the memory spell so there may be something wrong... though I will try to make this as painless as possible.” Itachi said with a calming tone of voice, it was as if he wanted to make sure that he had no pain at all. To be honest, Naruto was thankful for it and knew that he never wanted to feel pain but… he had to be brave for Hinata.

Breathing deeply, Naruto said “I’m ready, just get it over with!” He wanted to sound brave, he wanted to sound like it didn’t bother him in the least that he would have no problem with anyone going through his memories… all for the sake of Hinata seeing that there would be no problem. That this would never hurt him… Closing his eyes, he was ready for Itachi to begin with the memory spell.

Itachi carefully placed his hands on Naruto’s temples, mumbling a chant under his breath as he started the spell. To be honest, Naruto couldn’t look, he didn’t want to see what everyone would see. Though he could feel it… He could see the images, his memories flashing in his mind’s eye. He could see the times when he first met Hinata, how he really felt about her at the time. Biting his lip, the young man slowly started to feel the pain, though to others, it wouldn’t appear as pain, more like he was nervous about something…

Soon, his memories flashed to when he first wanted to kiss Hinata. To her singing, him meeting his parents and them telling him that he had chosen a human. None of them, he didn’t think was in order nor did he care. All of these memories flashed through his mind, and then it got to not just his demonic blood speaking to him, but the nightmare he had from when he was out cold after fighting Gaidoku.

The pain was slowly starting to get worse for him, though he knew that he had to keep fighting through the pain or else it would only make Hinata fear for when it was her turn. The memories shifted to the times he met the masked woman, to when he battled the Poison Demon, to his anger and what he felt of when he had thought Hinata to be dead. All of it, coursed through his body and he felt all of those emotions once again. He almost wanted to believe that these were happening all over again, yet he knew, that it wasn’t.

Tightening his grip on the chairs arms, Naruto wanted to get out of this chair here and now. The pain, it was so unbearable now that he just wanted to make a break for it to stop! Just to stop all of the pain that was coursing through his mind. Soon, it got to when he first met Kuro once again… To what he had said to Hinata, to her slapping him and to what he had assumed to be her rejection of him. The pain of it almost made his body go into that state once again though he didn’t believe it to be true.

Memories flashed quickly to what he and Sasuke had planned, to what they did in order to keep an eye on her because he had a bad feeling about the man that he knew he could never trust... After that the memory blacked out for a brief moment, showing everyone that he had, for the time being blacked out for a moment.

Images flooded back once again, to him draining the chakra of a human, and almost killing them. He healed them as much as he could, whispering a ‘sorry’ to the human woman before he left with Sasuke. Flashing once again, it went to Naruto arriving and fighting Kuro. To the wounds that he received to him almost being killed by Kuro’s ice sword to the chest.

At that point Naruto felt two places of pain, his chest, and his mind.

Naruto gasped out from the pain, feeling like everything was happening all over again, Itachi kept on mumbling the chant under his breath, and kept a firm grip on Naruto’s temples so he could keep the spell going. It soon went to the confession that Naruto did for Hinata, him telling her just how much he loved her, how much that she meant to him and that she was the one that he had chosen, the only one that he could ever, truly love no matter how much time had gone by.

He was soon breathing heavily, trying to ignore the pain that was still surging through his brain. The young man almost wanted to scream out from the pain though he went back to biting his lip, just hoping to transfer the pain from his brain to that… nothing worked….

Soon, the memories went to the final battle… to him fighting Kuro, to the Poison Demon, Gaidoku slicing his cheek and the masked woman using a sword just like his own… all to the point of him stabbing Kuro and watching as he pleaded for the Poison Demon to help him, only for him to be abandoned. Kuro soon, melted as he died into a puddle of water… Nothing to show that he had ever been there.

It was at that point, that Naruto’s eyes shot open and he let out a loud whine of pain, not able to contain it, the whine was so pitiful and painful sounding that it would have broken anyone’s heart… Itachi stopped the spell, and let go of Naruto as he watched the young man fall out of the chair and onto his hands and knees as he breathed deeply. His eyes wide and pupils dilated to the size of needle tips. Dear god if he went through that kind of pain how would Hinata feel?

“Don’t…” he whispered.

“Don’t what?” asked the Dog Demon.

“Please don’t put Hinata through that. If I felt this kind of… of pain… I don’t want her to go through that… please.” Naruto whispered gently.

Kakashi made his way over toward Naruto and helped him walk over to the chair that he had been using before this whole thing. Naruto was a little out of it, everything still hurt, mostly his brain to be honest. It was hurting and burning from his memories being searched through. Breathing deeply, the young man just hoped that Hinata wouldn’t go through so much pain… he just couldn’t deal with that if she had to go through a worse pain.

“Hinata… please come up. We will look through your memories as well now.” Itachi said, sounding a little sad that he had to look through her memories as well…

Hinata gulped a bit before she made her way over to the chair that the fox demon had once resided in… and closed her eyes as she held onto the arms of the chair. Naruto looked up and felt that she was nervous and scared. Frowning, Naruto shakily stood up on his seat, Kakashi tried to pull him back down… but stopped when he had heard Naruto’s words. “Hinata… I’m… I’m right here. Don’t worry, I will make sure that they don’t do anything to bad… I promise…” Naruto vowed before he sat down.

Hinata had opened her eyes a moment before giving him a soft and gentle smile… then she closed them once again, it was as if that was the only encouragement that she needed… and for that, Naruto was thankful…

Itachi soon placed his hands on the young woman’s temples, saying the same spell under his breath as the spell was soon starting to take place. Naruto slowly turned his attention to the window and watched as Hinata’s memories started to take place. The memories of her school life, her getting beaten up from the bullies in her class… Frowning, Naruto could faintly see some kind of aura around some of the bullies that surrounded her. Odd, how could it be that he could see that aura through Hinata’s memories and… she couldn’t?

Unless she wasn’t aware of it… hm… he’d have to look into that later on.

Soon, the memories flashed to when she first asked Kuro, only for him to reject her saying that he was not interested in people like her. That of course had caused a lot of people to mutter to themselves. A demon would be interested in someone that was their chosen. After all, Naruto himself was at least a little interested even though he tried to ignore the whole thing… He didn’t accept it fully until he noticed he couldn’t live without her… Kuro, had been in class with her for a good long while and he rejected her.

Soon, the memory went to when she had found Naruto and released him… and brought him home and tended to his injuries. Turning to Hinata for a moment, Naruto didn’t see that she was in pain so… maybe she was able to ignore the pain a bit after all. Great mental strength for a human.

Turning back to the window, Naruto saw that the memories switched back to him trying to… oh god, it had to be when he tried to have sex with her and him getting kicked in the groin. He winced at the memory of it and he wasn’t even under the spell… Fucking hell… People even laughed about the whole thing! Damn it all.

Memories just seemed too zipped by for him as they played on and on… The times from when they went out to the bar, her dancing with her friend and him beating up that guy and of course draining a little of his chakra. Him taking Hinata out of there and showing how jealous he was… man, he was amazed that he never noticed it sooner… Him telling her that the man would have raped her if she didn’t accept what he had wanted… that he would have taken her innocents one way or another.

The time from when she had found himself screaming and the mirror breaking and him telling her what he felt about humans…. To him trusting her a little more….

The memory shifted to how she felt when he was about to kiss her… How nervous she felt and why she never bothered to pull away… she didn’t know but on some level she did… Had she wanted to be kissed by him at that point? It didn’t show… and he felt bad that he had almost forced the kiss on her.

Soon, the memories shifted to when he fought Gaidoku, to him almost killing her… to the masked woman saving her just in time. The fear that she had when she stopped Naruto just before he could kill the Poison Demon and noticed that he was a demon that she had seen in her nightmares before ever meeting Naruto himself. Odd… she never mentioned that before… he’d have to ask her about that. Right now though, he’d have to deal with the memories that were showing themselves.

Her concern went through the roof when Naruto had passed out in her memories, how she was able to get him home, to how worried she was and nervous about kissing him in order to give him chakra. To be honest, Naruto rather enjoyed the kiss though he had just wanted to be awake to have enjoyed it even more. He wanted to chuckle to himself though didn’t… yet…

Soon, the young man started to hear Hinata groan from the pain of the spell. It was finally starting to cause her some pain. He wanted to rush out to her and stop it, though knew that he wouldn’t get to her if Kakashi kept a firm hold on him. They had to get through the rest of the memories. The memories flashed to the guilt that she felt over slapping him, to when she was on her date with Kuro and finding out the truth about him. How he had killed human woman by draining their chakra. Him throwing her against a tree and her head bleeding.

The masked woman fighting, to distract Kuro long enough until Naruto and Sasuke had arrived. In fact, Hinata almost looked relieved when he had showed up… she believed in him… even then… Naruto closed his eyes for a moment, relived that she still believed he would get her…

Soon, the memory screamed, causing Naruto to look up when he saw that it was the memory of him falling over from Kuro stabbing him in the chest. Hinata screamed his name, rushing toward the fox demon and talking to him, begging him not to die… listening to his confession through her point of view… Of how she felt, how surprised she was hearing those words from him… and how moved she was just hearing those words… She had been… so moved… by his words? Dear lord… he never knew…

Hinata’s memories went to her staring at his lips, wondering if giving him her chakra would save him, she would do it, so long as it was to save him. Tears wafted through the room, it was at that point, that Naruto turned to the real Hinata, and saw that tears were streaming down her face just like in her memory… ’Hinata… did I upset you so much when I almost died…? I’m… I’m so sorry….’ thought Naruto as he turned back to the memory. Naruto woke up, held onto Hinata as he made a vow to Kuro, to kill him for trying to harm Hinata, to kill him for all the past sins that he had done.

Memories of the fight flashed through her mind, the battle even when Gaidoku slashed at Naruto’s cheek. She had been afraid of Naruto being killed again and wasn’t sure if she could give him more chakra to save him… Soon, the memory stopped with the stab that Naruto delivered to Kuro’s chest, it even played the part of Kuro pleading for Gaidoku to save him, to help him… but the Poison Demon laughed and just left… and then… it was over.

Hinata was freed from the spell, Naruto saw that she was about to fall over and did what he could do… He rushed forward and caught Hinata, watching as she shook in his arms as her body trembled from the pain that she had gone through with watching all of her memories flash through her mind. “Hinata… I’m so sorry…” Naruto whispered as he started to nuzzle her…

The demons started to chat among themselves, mostly the jury as they tried to figure out what they had just witnessed, not just on the window of their memories, but based on Naruto’s actions and words that he had shared with them without meaning to. It was rather odd that a demon that they have heard many terrible things about, had changed all because of a human woman… It was rather odd though, maybe she was a good influence on him, which had resulted his change and not just because she was the one that he had chosen. It was now… time for them to speak of their decision.

“Naruto Uzumaki.” Said the Cat Demon, causing Naruto to look up in shock only to glare at them, as if telling them to try anything else to Hinata, and he would rip them apart. “We clearly see, that the memories match, and that Hinata Hyuuga, is your chosen, and not the chosen of Kuro Jr… You are free, and we all see, that this is in fact, self-defence against the deceased… You may go…”

Naruto nodded before he lifted Hinata into his arms and started to make his way, shakily out of the room. He was going to use what strength he had left to get them home. For that he would be grateful for… Letting out a soft sigh, he could faintly hear the demon’s mentioning that they would send a letter for a punishment for him almost killing humans and… to be honest, he didn’t care about that. The only thing he cared about was Hinata and getting her home.

Creating a portal, the young man looked down at the sleeping face of Hinata and smiled gently at her before walking through the portal. He couldn’t wait to get home… he would lay Hinata down… maybe fall asleep as well though he would stay near Hinata… Just wanting to make sure that she was still okay. Once they got home, Naruto laid Hinata down on the bed, tucking her in as he gently brushed her bangs away from her face…

Yawning against the back of his hand, the young man laid down with her as well, though atop of the blankets so she wouldn’t get the wrong idea like that one time. He stared at Hinata for a moment, watching her sleeping face as he whispered “I promise Hinata… I will do things right this time… I won’t hold anything back but… I will do the right thing… for you…” With that, he drifted off to sleep… going into his own peaceful dreams….
