A Miko's Heart Final Chapter

Hinata sat down on a rocking chair on the porch of her home. When she and Naruto got married in the human terms of course, he had bought these lands because they were out of the way and no one would bother them here. To her, it was hard to believe just how long they have been together. Reaching up, she touched the small fox on her neck; it was her mark that appeared when Naruto had bit her. She couldn’t help but smile at him, when he had said that it would extend her life, he wasn’t kidding…

Together for over two hundred years was amazing and so were all the children they’ve had. Naruto had told her that as the new Fox Demon God, he had to restore his clansmen and Hinata; well she didn’t mind the idea. The only down side was the labour pains when she would give birth but she also loved having children. Taking a deep breath, she looked around and saw her twin boys running out of the house, they were around seven years old and both had Naruto’s looks though with her lavender coloured eyes.

As all of her children grew up, she noticed that they would become human once a month for the entire day and become demon again afterwards, though like with her older children, they lose that ability and become a full demon. She figured it was because of her priestess abilities and to get them to know what it is like to be human even if it’s only for a short while but it was enough for them to see how weak humans were compared to them…

“Mommy, when will daddy be home? He said he’d show me how to use fire!” said the one little boy.

“He’ll be home soon Takashi, it’ll just take some time is all. I’m sure that you and Neji will be able to wait just a bit longer.” Hinata said with a smile, it was nice to be able to name some of her children after those she had known. Her first set of twins she had named Gaara and Sasuke. Naruto of course, kept watch out for their descendants as well as her family. He was a man of honour and promises. Sure she didn’t like being away from him for long days at a time since she could only be a doctor for so long before having to stay away for a handful of years and renew her doctor license so no one would get suspicious of her.

Sure, people knew of demons being around the world but still, they didn’t fully know that humans could be mated with one or that their lifespans could be extended. It was best not to let just anyone know about it since demons were still in hiding as was Naruto. Naruto of course had gone down in history as a demon that had saved the world at the cost of his own life but never knew that he had returned after four years to come back for her.

Hinata sank a little on her seat as she tried to get herself comfortable. It was rough for her, being seven months along now though it made Naruto happy though at the same time worried. He had told her that they could stop having kids after seventeen though she wanted to play her part. Maybe this will be her last one though she wasn’t sure. Laughing softly, the young woman pushed herself up and made her way inside the house where some of her younger children were while the older ones had already left and started their own lives.

Just before she could make it into the house, she felt arms wrapping themselves around her waist and resting their hands on her belly. “Naruto, you’re home early.” Hinata said with a giggle.

Giggling, the blue haired woman laughed while she felt Naruto nuzzling her neck and turned to look over and stared at her mate and husband as he looked up at her with his big blue eyes. “Hinata, maybe this should be the last of our children. You don’t have to keep having more ya know… I hate causing you pain.”

This was something that had been going on for just about the last dozen or so pregnancies though she would always tell him that it was worth it for him to have his clan back. Though, maybe he did have a point, at some point she would have to stop having kids so she could just enjoy her times with Naruto mostly cuddling or watching some movies without the baby kicking her bladder. Taking a deep breath, Hinata reached up and placed her hand on his cheek as she said “don’t worry Naruto… I may not have another child after this one… though if it isn’t another planned pregnancy then I can’t control that.” Naruto nodded before nuzzling her mark causing her to giggle once again.

“Well, I guess I’ll just have to be very careful not to get you pregnant again Hinata.” Naruto said with a smile before letting out a soft chuckle and nuzzled her again before kissing her cheek. Hinata just smiled at him before getting out of his arms and made her way over to the kitchen to make something to eat. It was nice that she could still cook, even though she was pregnant, it wasn’t a rough one for her just like all of the other ones. “Oh yeah, Hinata… how many kids have we had again?”

“Including these ones? I think maybe sixty or so since sometimes we have twins or triplets.” Hinata laughed a bit. It did get confusing now and again to remember most of the children’s names but it was just the idea of her bringing children in the world that made her so happy. Though maybe there was such thing as having too many kids. Taking a deep breath, the young woman started to cook some dinner for the kids, and made her own separate pot since she has had weird cravings even for human pregnancies. That was the one thing that had bothered her for the first time she was pregnant though she didn’t complain about it all that often. To her it was something new for her to go through though it had been a little surprising for her at first.

Taking a deep breath, she rubbed her belly as she felt the baby kicking against her and smiled, it was strong already and she still had two months to go. Maybe this baby will be just like Naruto, tails, looks, and power. Some of their children only had one tail or maybe four or five. There was very few that made it up to seven tails.

There hadn’t been any of their children or grandchildren that had made it up above seven tails so maybe it would be their great-grandchildren like it was with Naruto. He was the first nine tailed fox demon that got nine tails since his great-grandfather Kurama. Though, Naruto would live long enough to train all of their children on how to use their powers. He would make sure that they all had the life that they deserved and that was how it was meant to be…

Sure, Naruto was nervous when he first became a father, though as soon as he held his son in his arms, he couldn’t be any happier than at that moment. The moment he held their son, it was like his entire life was brought into a new light. That was the happiest she had ever seen him since she had accepted to be his mate. Inhaling, the young woman finished cooking and blinked when she felt tiny arms wrap themselves around her leg causing her to look down and smiled at the little girl with red hair, two tails and looked up at the blue haired woman with lavender eyes. “Mommy, when will you have my sister?” asked the little girl.

“Now, now Kushina, it could very well be a boy.” It was amazing how their children grew… Until they were teens, they grew up like normal human children; maybe it was just until they reached their maturity because they also turn humans once a month… though thanks to that, they didn’t want to hurt humans but to protect them. Their oldest son, Naruto Jr, had vowed to protect all humans… so he became a police officer in order to do just that. Though it had taken some time to get them to accept him even though he looked so young when really he was at least a hundred and ninety, though they didn’t need to know that.

Kushina pouted, she was the youngest of their children at the moment and it made her smile as her daughter nuzzled up to her legs. Out of all of their children so far, Kushina was the most snuggly and loved to snuggle either her mother or father and that just made it all the cuter. Though, like any father, Naruto wanted to keep his daughters from marrying or mating anyone that couldn’t give him a good challenge. It had been something that Naruto had mentioned to her once. Something that a female demon’s father would fight the suitor to make sure if they can protect their intended. If the battle ended too soon, then they weren’t worth it, if it came to the battle lasting longer than they were worthy of the intended though Naruto wanted to add to the fight, he says something about being able to sense the true intentions through the man’s movements and actions.

That was what told Naruto that the guy was worthy of his daughters, when she asked him why he also wanted that as well as strength... he had only said ‘I want my daughters to be protected and loved and not be abused by their so called lovers.’ He had seen a few of the females in his village be abused by their mates and it couldn’t be undone since matings are forever…

The young woman saw that as a good reason for wanting to make sure that it never happened to their children. It was something that she never wanted to see happen to any of her children or grandkids. There was no way that she could deal with that if it were to happen to her family.

Rubbing her lower back, Hinata started to set the table, careful not to trip or step on Kushina’s tails while she got everything ready. Placing her thumb and her middle finger to her lips and blew. A loud whistle went through the area causing loud cheers and the sounds of loud footsteps heading toward the dining room. It was a good thing that there was a very big table to hold all of the family there. Laughing softly, Hinata went to get the plates only to stop when she felt someone grab a hold of her hand.

“Hinata, you go sit down, I’ll get the dishes alright?” Naruto said with a soft smile before kissing her gently and ushered her to the table before making his way over to the cupboards and started to get the table ready. Hinata loved it that Naruto wanted to do his share though she figured that it was going a little over the top since he was also training the fox demons, trying to keep the town safe and of course trying to make sure that the knowledge of fox demons weren’t all lost due to the course of time. It was a big job and it was something that would take a great deal.

Smiling though… Hinata giggled softly only to have Naruto staring at her as he asked “what’s so funny Hinata?” He sounded confused which would make since from her sudden giggling.

“Oh nothing Naruto, nothing at all my darling Crimson Fox.”

“Hinata! I’m not called that anymore remember? I’m called ‘The Crimson Fox God!”

“Oh right, but to me you’ll always be The Crimson Fox.”

Naruto just pouted before walking over to her and kissed her gently. “I love you Hinata… nothing will ever change that… I promise.”

“And I love you Naruto.”
