A Miko's Heart Ch: 16

Naruto turned to Sasuke as he said “I want you to get out now. This is a battle between me and Kuro; tell Hinata that I will return to her. I promise… I don’t care how long it takes I will go back to her.” The look on Sasuke’s face told Naruto that he didn’t want to leave Naruto alone but sensed that Naruto’s new found power had awakened at last. There was no way of knowing just how powerful Naruto had become but then he turned to stare at Kuro. The snake demon seemed… afraid. It seemed that Naruto had a good chance on winning after all.

Nodding, Sasuke started to run off. Now that there was no one else in the cave with the two demons, Naruto didn’t have to worry about holding back. He was going to make sure that Kuro was dead, and make sure that Hinata would be safe. Now that he had this power, he was going to use it to protect and keep Hinata safe no matter what the cost… no matter it be a limb or his life he would keep her safe, though he wouldn’t die… he had a promise to keep.

There was no way that he was going to allow himself to die, he still had so much to live for and that was to be with Hinata and enjoy life with her as much and as long as possible. Inhaling deeply, the young man narrowed his crimson eyes as he felt the power swirling around him. It was time to use this new found power and he was going to make sure that he used it to its full extent so he could take down Kuro once and for all.

“Do you think that you can really take me down Naruto?!” growled out Kuro.

“I don’t think… I know I can.” Said Naruto with a smirk before pulling out his sword and rushed forward once again. He had to make sure that this battle was one for the century. Or at least a battle worth it for even if he wanted it to be short, there was no way that it would be even with all this new found power. Kuro acted quickly and pulled out a sword blocking the strike from Naruto. It seemed that the snake was able to use swords as well though he wasn’t going to think too much on that. At least not at the moment.

Naruto smirked a little before he allowed his sword to be engulfed by flames, causing Kuro to back up in shock before letting out a growl. Soon, the flames had started to die down, Naruto didn’t know where some of these ideas or even the knowledge was coming from but what he did know was that it had to be from the idea that he had Hinata’s heart, her love and for that he had an idea of what he was to do even if at the moment this was the only attack that he could think of at this very moment. The blade started to glow with a bright red demonic energy. Kuro smirked as he said “do you really think that you can kill me with demonic aura? That isn’t something that can kill a demon you idiot.”

Smirking, Naruto chuckled as he said “who ever said it would only be demonic energy? I can wield another…” As soon as he had said that, a bright pink light started to form along with the demonic aura. It was the sacred energy that came with having Hinata’s love. This aura was a mixture of Naruto’s demonic aura, and Hinata’s sacred aura. A perfect mix, to take down a demon without it counteracting with the other. Lifting his head, Naruto grinned as he said “I won’t make this fight easy.” With that, he rushed forward and slashed at Kuro while screaming out “Seinaru akuma surasshu!”

The snake demon jumped though getting nicked on the ankle in the process. Kuro had screamed out like he was in a great deal of pain, though Naruto figured that was because he was hit by sacred energy. That would make sense since sacred energy, or aura could easily hurt a demon even with just the tiniest bit of power.

“You son of a bitch!” shouted Kuro.

“My mother is a fox dumbass.” Mumbled Naruto before holding his sword tightly in his hand once again. There had to be an easier way to destroy Kuro once and for all though there was no way for him to know the full extent of his new powers yet. There had to be something that he could do that could take down Kuro though there still wasn’t a full way of knowing what these powers do for him.

Inhaling, Naruto put the sword away as he tried to focus on his tails, uniting the elements of fire and air to the ten tails that he possessed as he screamed out “Erementaruteirusu!” With that, five tails swirled with wind, while the other swirled with burning hot flames. Naruto smirked before the tails thrust outward and pinned Kuro to the stone wall of the cave and slowly made his way over to him. “It’s amazing isn’t it? You wanted this power Kuro but I ended up getting it because I fell in love, and Hinata fell in love with me… It’s sad and maybe ironic. The very power you wanted will kill you.” Laughing, Naruto was about to stab the evil demon only to blink when he felt something pierce through his shoulder. Looking down, the fox demon saw a silver sword going through his shoulder. Odd, he felt a burning from the silver but not weakened by it… had he become immune to silver even if it was just a little bit? Maybe… just maybe…

Shaking his head, Naruto lifted Kuro, removed the sword and threw him across the area. “You are just so stupid Kuro!” shouted Naruto with a growl.

Kuro growled at Naruto, it was as if he was shocked that the silver had no effect on the fox demon. To be honest, Naruto was surprised as well though he didn’t voice it. There wasn’t much of a point in talking about how surprising he found it since for as long as he could remember, fox demons have always been weak against silver and now, all of a sudden it didn’t work… or at least not as well as before. Shaking his head, the young man took a deep breath as he growled as he shouted “Moeru uzu!” With that, the air around Naruto and Kuro started to pick up, creating a vortex around them. A vortex of flames if you will, something that will take all the air from the evil demon because he was so close to Naruto, as for the fox himself he was unaffected thanks to all that training.

Kuro had started to turn blue from lack of air. Naruto felt like he was finally going to kill the snake demon at last. Someone had finally killed him when others had tried countless times in the past and had failed to do so in the past. He would be the one to finish him…

Suddenly, he felt something kick him in the stomach hard enough to send him across the room. Pulling himself away from the wall, the young man took a deep breath as pain racked through his body for a moment. Blinking slowly to focus his sight on what was around him, Naruto yelped in shock when he saw Kuro zipping toward him. Just moving out of the way, he turned his head and gazed at where his head had been. ’Holy shit I’m so glad I moved in time…’ thought Naruto, and he was right to have moved… for if he hadn’t, he wouldn’t even have a head anymore because there was a huge hole in the wall from the force of Kuro’s hit.

“You’ll die Crimson Fox, and then I’ll take that power for myself!” declared Kuro, his eyes wide and had a little light that shined with nothing but pure insanity. Man, was this guy just that power hungry or just really crazy? He couldn’t really tell anymore… nor did he give a shit.

Naruto knew that he had to think of something else, if he transformed in the cave then it could cave in on the both of them for it wouldn’t hold his true form… Damn it, he had to be extremely careful not to cause a cave in though he also had to make sure that the bastard didn’t finish him off or get away. Wait! Flexing his claws, on his left hand, his claws started to ignite with flames, his right claws swirled with razor sharp air as he shouted out “Erementaru tsume!” With that, he swung both of his arms and the elements from his claws projected themselves from his claws like darts toward Kuro.

Kuro yelped in surprise before he jumped out of the way though not as quickly as he had thought he would. The snake demon screamed out in pain as he felt the fire hitting his calf and felt the burning through his entire leg. It got to the point where he wanted to tear his leg off but didn’t or else he wouldn’t be as fast and it takes him days to regrow a limb. Naruto felt his power increasing again. Something within him was telling him to do something though he didn’t know what it was. It was telling him… on how to forever seal Kuro? It was trying to build up enough energy for it to be possible though he had no idea if it would be possible yet.

Narrowing his eyes, Naruto pulled out his sword once again and rushed forward as he swung at Kuro. The snake demon though jumped out of the way, curious as to why he wasn’t using any more of his power. Had the fox simple run out of power and could only use sword moves? That would mean that he isn’t as all powerful as he claimed to have been. In fact, it made Kuro giddy at the very idea that there was still a chance to get the power from that woman.

Naruto swung at Kuro’s stomach, hoping to weaken him. He wanted to make sure that he could gather as much energy as possible, so he wanted to keep his ability usage as short as possible. In other words, no fire or wind powers… for now. Though that was going to be hard for him since he was fighting a demon and needed to use his powers if he wanted to have the upper hand. This was going to be tiresome that’s for sure.

Kuro screamed in pain as he felt the blade making contact with his stomach, leaving a nice long gash through his clothes and flesh. He jumped back before growling and making a rush at him with his fists held high, preparing himself to punch the fox demon.

Naruto though, has had that thought out. Digging his tenth tail into the ground, it shot out behind Kuro and wrapped around his waist. “Close Kuro, but not close enough.” Smirked Naruto before throwing the demon across the wall and shot out fire blades from his claws once again, pinning him to the wall. The fox demon felt like he had enough energy now, he could do this… he could seal away the bastard once and for all. This was the only way he could do it… for once it was done, Kuro’s soul would slowly be ripped apart for all the crimes and sins he had committed over his long life.

“What do you plan to do huh?” glared Kuro.

Naruto’s bangs hid his eyes as he walked forward, sword glowing red with his demonic aura… wind wrapping itself around him as he walked ever closer. Though surrounding his body was sacred and demonic aura. “I’m going to seal you Kuro… and you’ll know true pain…”

“What are you talking about?!” growled out Kuro.

Lifting his head, Naruto’s left eye was a deep crimson with a black slit, while his right was still its usual bright blue. “I have the powers of a god Kuro… and along with that power, comes with the power to open the gates to hell itself. I don’t know how I have come to gain that knowledge but what I do know is that I can use it to seal you away.” Kuro though, started to look very afraid, though believed that Naruto was bluffing. No one can have that kind of power, it was impossible! It just had to be impossible! He then started to struggle… only to feel the wind knocked out of him by a sudden push against his body.

“Don’t try… the more you struggle I will use the wind to crush you and break every bone in your body from the pressure.” Naruto said darkly.

Holding out his sword, Naruto took a deep breath as he said “I Naruto Uzumaki, the last member of the Fox Clan, have been given the power of the Fox God, the founder of my clan and the father of all fox demons. I do not truly believe that I am worth of this power…” Which was true, Naruto didn’t believe that he was worthy of this great power with all the sins he had made in the past, but he was going to use this power justly, and make sure that he made everyone happy no matter the price.

“Though, I promise to myself, to the gods themselves, that I shall use this power for good, unlike this demon before me, Kuro, who has caused nothing but pain and torment to humans and demons alike.” Naruto’s body started to glow a bright white and golden light. It seemed that the gods have given him their blessing to use this power as he chanted to the gods above him, to his clan and to those who had come before him.

“In the name of my clan, my family… the gods and to the one I have given my heart to and who, in return has given me her heart, I shall do nothing but to make this world a better place, by sealing away this great evil away for all eternity.” Soon, he pointed his sword at Kuro, eyes glowing red and blue as the power around him started to increase, whether or not he was aware of it was hard to say, though it seemed that his power was still increasing without it causing a great strain on his body. “Kuro, member of the Snake Demon Clan, is nothing but of the damned… He shall remain in hell for eternity, his soul never finding peace and shall never be allowed to redeem himself nor to be reincarnated for his evil to be reborn shall never be. If it ever comes to that, my bloodline shall end him just like it is now… Kuro, in the name of the new Fox God, do you have anything to say for yourself and your sins.”

Kuro just laughed, his blood staining his clothes and skin as it tried to heal itself though he just smirked. “Why should I ask or beg for anything other than power? I do not regret my choices in my life. Only that I did not get the power I sought or you to join me… In fact, you could have ruled with me Naruto, you could have had any woman you ever wanted but no, you chose to have that girl… what was it that got you to care about her? Her beautiful human eyes? Her breasts? Her body itself?”

Naruto just stared at Kuro, his eyes and expression showing nothing but hate for the demon that stood before him. The fox demon never hated someone as much as he had hated this man in his entire life. Kuro was the start of it all, the death of his clan, the death of his great-grandfather… the reason for the attack on the Sacred Village, his sealing… and the demon attacks in the town. This demon reeked of nothing but evil and darkness and he will never be redeemed. His soul was nothing but the pure essence of evil that can never be pure no matter how many times it goes to the afterlife. It seemed pointless to try at this point…

“No… what drew me to Hinata was the purity of her heart and soul. Hinata is one of a kind; she is beautiful of course, but not just on the outside but on the inside. Hinata cared about me, never judging me even though I was a demon. I love her, for who she is. I don’t care if she’s human, I would still love her in this life and the next. Hinata is my soul mate.” With that said, the light surrounding Naruto grew to great proportions as he screamed out “Andāwārudo no kiba!!” With that, he thrust the sword through Kuro’s heart, the energy surrounding the sword started to wrap itself around the snake as he gasped out in pain.

Kuro never knew that he could feel this kind of pain in his entire life but here it was. The burning pain making its way from his heart through his entire body. Soon, the stone beneath him started to change, and started to become… a mouth? A mouth with razor sharp fangs?! “What the hell!?” shouted Kuro as he felt himself starting to sink into the ground.

“This is the gates of hell Kuro, and the last thing you’ll see before you go into the darkness of hell itself. I hope you enjoy your stay for you’ll be there for an eternity!” shouted Naruto before he ripped his sword from Kuro’s chest and jumped back as the demon screamed, starting to beg for mercy. Naruto though, just stood there as he watched the snake be dragged down to hell where he would remain… and never finding peace.

Sheathing his sword back, Naruto took a deep breath as he started to feel a little more at peace. Kuro was gone, his soul would never return to earth… though he just hoped that he can have a peaceful life with Hinata now…

Suddenly, the ground started to shake around him. Looking around frantically, he saw that the walls and ceiling were breaking apart. The gates to hell must have weakened the walls of the cave, it was starting to fall apart with him still inside! Rushing to the path, Naruto hoped that he would be able to get through, though before he could even get to the gate; it had sealed itself by boulders. “Damn it!” shouted the fox as he tried to life the stone but another merely took its place. It would take too long for him to remove them all so he could escape.

“No, I have to get out of here and get to Hinata!” shouted Naruto as he tried to find another way out of this place. No matter where he went though, all the paths were blocked with boulders and the area was getting smaller and smaller the longer he stayed within the walls of the cave. He had to think of a plan or else he’d die.

Tightly gripping his hands into fists, ignoring the pain of his claws digging into his palms, the young man knew that he had to do something though he had no idea how he could get out. He only had so much oxygen in this place and it wouldn’t last forever. Then of course, the area was getting smaller and smaller and with him jumping out and gasping from the shock of it all was only making him lose all the more air. Cursing to himself, Naruto looked up as he heard a voice within his mind… telling him of a way of his escape.

There was one way for him to escape… but he would not like the end result. He had to get out so he could be with Hinata, so what could the result be in the first place? Suddenly, he felt a boulder slamming into his side, causing him to scream in slight pain and fall over. Before he could get himself back up, another boulder landed on his tails, causing him to scream out in pain before turning and staring at his tails. Damn it, he couldn’t get up for himself to remove the rocks! Looking up, Naruto tightly shut his eyes as he thought ’Hinata, forgive me… I may not be able to keep my promise after all…’ He only had one option left… and that was to listen to the voice…

Pulling out his sword, he whispered simple words that almost sounded like a spell, a prayer… anything really… and slammed the sword into his own chest before the world went dark…
